A group of Health and Social Care Level 3 Diploma Sixth Form students attended the School of Health and Wellbeing Futures event at the University of Wolverhampton’s Walsall Campus this week.

This opportunity fitted in with their current Public Health unit, and students enjoyed the opportunity to engage in a number of Health and Wellbeing taster sessions including Children and Family Services, Social Work and Adult Nursing.

This was a particularly helpful experience for those students who have not yet made career choices. They were supported in the UCAS and student finance application processes, including information about support available from different universities.

An additional bonus was the attraction of Fresher’s week, where they were able to see the clubs, activities and support they can expect when they start at university.
