Earlier in March a group of Year 7s celebrated Fairtrade Fortnight by designing a range of posters including the slogan ‘Put Fairtrade in your break’.
The posters were entered into a regional competition and we are happy to announce that three students were chosen to meet the Mayor of Wolverhampton and also take part in this year’s Fairtrade celebrations on Friday 10th March.
Scarlett Bennett received a winner’s prize for her poster, while Shukran Awan and Amiyah-Nicole Brown received highly commended awards.
Teacher Heather Wilson said: “I’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate these three students and all those that entered. Well done!”
