The first half saw possession shared equally between the teams, but Coppice managed to get their shots away so they went into half time 2-0 up. The teams were equal and both were getting into scoring positions and Coppice might even have had a third but Adam Matthews made a crucial block off the line. At the break, Smestow’ s manager got the team going with a rousing speech and then they were ready to come out strong. Jack Walters had a free kick outside the box and put it away to make it 2-1. Neco Brown equalised with a fantastic run through their defence with Vikai Dass following up shortly afterwards with a shot outside the box. Then Coppice brought it back and Ryan Witter made another fine defensive block. Smestow scored again through a corner whipped in by Vikai, and Neco was able to power it into the goal. Finally the captain Jack put the cherry on the cake by smashing in a volley so Smestow claimed the victory.
