On the 6th of June, seven of our Year 12 BTEC Applied science students went to the University of Wolverhampton to carry out Chromatography Practicals. These practicals were  part of their written assessment units. Students worked in the labs in the Rosalind Franklin Building and produced some really good results in terms of Chromatography of Plant Pigments and Amino Acids. Students found the trip very helpful as it allowed them to collect results that were useful for their assignment and also provided them with the experience to work in a modern lab.
