School Transport 2017-18
Stafford Road via Claregate, Tettenhall and Whitmore Reans
A 70-seat coach operates on all journeys on this service. Our bus pass system offers parents certainty that there will be a seat available for all those who have paid. Prices and timetables are set out in the Transport Letter. Please note that the timetable is different to 2016-17.
To apply for a pass, please either download the Transport Letter attached to this page or pay online via ParentPay.com, where you can opt to pay monthly, half-termly or for the whole year: the cost will be discounted for those who pay in advance. The cash price for those students without passes will be £1.50 per journey, and priority will be given to students with a pass. Passes will be issued on a first-come first-served basis, and those students eligible for free school meals will be entitled to a free bus pass.
City Centre and other routes
Students travelling to and from the City Centre and beyond use the National Express West Midlands #3 route, which will be monitored by school staff. The nearest bus stop to school is on Windmill Lane. The #751 route operates between Upper Penn, Bradmore and school. The National Express West Midlands child price is presently £1.20 per journey. ‘Term Plus’ Travelcards can be obtained from http://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/tickets-prices
