Extra Curricular

Smestow has developed a large range of Club links, so every student has the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular provision, whatever their sport.
Smestow School is a high performing Sports College that is proud to offer a wide range of opportunities to all students.

Provision

Smestow has a State of the art Swimming pool, which has recently been refurbished; we are one of only a few Secondary schools, who have this facility. Swimming in a major part of our curriculum and the pool gets used by students all year round. 

We have built on Smestow’s long tradition of successful curricular and extra-curricular provision by investing in extra equipment and coaching expertise. This has not only been in the traditional sports such as Football, Rugby and Netball. The school has developed sports such as: Girls Football, Trampolining, Golf and Table Tennis.
