Year 10 students were joined by Medical Mavericks today in the Interactive Studio.

Presented by Head Honcho of Medical Mavericks Tom Warrender, he delivered the Human Guinea Pig Show to students to demonstrate the various careers in Healthcare Science. Students were given to opportunity to measure their heartbeats, look at their own veins using an infrared light and even take pictures of behind their eyes!

This invaluable experience provided students with the chance to expand their vision of the NHS and understand that there is much more to the NHS than just Doctors and Nurses.
